Where each number comes from.Every price is the figure the platform itself publishes, read off its own pricing page wherever the site allows an ordinary fetch. Nothing here is a quote from another comparison site, a press summary or a reviewer's recollection. Each row's full verification record, including the exact pages read and the facts that could not be confirmed, sits on that platform's review page under our published methodology.

What the medians exclude, and who. A median that mixes a monthly subscription with a per-visit consult fee is arithmetic on two different products. So the medians on this page use only the 12 platforms that charge a recurring monthly rate. Held out: Elektra Health, Midi Health and Gennev, all billing per visit, and Defy Medical, whose only published all-in figure is a ceiling on its own self-described average, where the word "under" carries the hedging. Those 4 appear in the second table with their real figures and their labels.

What a price includes changes what it means. 5 platforms bill a month-to-month figure that covers the medication. 2 include the medication only on an annual or 12-month plan, so the monthly number is a division rather than a charge. 6 publish a price that buys care or membership while the prescription is billed by a pharmacy. For the remaining 3 we could not establish which, and the table says so. Comparing an all-in figure against a membership fee is the single most common error in this category.

Verified against Reported. 5 of the 16 platforms block verification crawlers on the pages that carry their prices: Elektra Health, Winona, Hers Menopause, Gala Health and MangoRx. Depending on the platform that means a Cloudflare challenge, a 500 on the homepage, or a funnel that renders only in JavaScript. Facts we could not read with an ordinary fetch carry a [Reported] label on the review page rather than [Verified], and some were read through a headed browser session instead. We publish that limitation rather than scrubbing it, because a price you cannot re-check is worth less than one you can.

What we could not confirm. All 16 records in this dataset list at least one fact still resting on a third-party source, and each names which. The recurring gaps across the category are lab pricing, medication cost where the prescription goes to your own pharmacy, cancellation terms, and the carriers an insurance-billing platform is actually in-network with.

Dates. Records are re-checked on a rotating schedule, so the index is a rolling record with a date on every row. The most recent check here is July 31, 2026 and the oldest is May 12, 2026. Every row shows its own date in the Verified column. Providers change prices without notice, and a figure checked in May is a weaker claim than one checked in July.

Transparency Grade. The A to F grade in the table is a separate axis from our 0 to 10 score. It grades what a platform discloses before intake: pricing visible without a quiz or an account, named clinicians with credentials, a published cancellation policy, corporate disclosure, and accessible third-party reviews. The current distribution across the 16 platforms is 1 A, 6 B, 5 C, 4 D. Affiliate status has never moved a grade, a score or a position in this index.
