Who publishes the comparisons?

HRT Picks publishes source-based comparisons by Iacob Pastina, an independent researcher, not a medical professional. Our shopping shortlist is limited to approved affiliate partners. We check public provider materials and identify what was and was not independently verified. These reviews are not reports of receiving treatment. The publisher and coverage guide identifies the scope of the publication.

AI-assisted tools help with research and drafting. We use the cited original source as evidence for a claim. An AI draft or summary is not an independent medical review, and it does not transfer editorial responsibility away from Iacob Pastina.

Which sources support a claim?

We match the source to the question. A provider's product page can establish what it advertises; it cannot independently establish clinical effectiveness. Price, product and policy records retain their own check dates and any conflicts or missing details.

• Provider product pages, pricing, help pages and purchase terms support attributed claims about that program. Reviews link the evidence beside the relevant statement. A quoted entry price is not a verified total unless the included medication, fees and billing obligation are established.
• For regulatory and product-label statements, we use the exact product record and dated FDA material. The DailyMed database includes both approved and unapproved products; a label's presence there does not by itself prove FDA approval.
• For clinical context, we link the original study or a professional guideline and retain its population, treatment and limitations. PubMed is a research index, so a database entry is not itself a treatment recommendation or proof that a telehealth program produces the same outcomes.
• Insurance statements use the applicable plan or public-program rules. We distinguish coverage for a visit from coverage for a prescription, and identify where a patient must confirm benefits. The HRT and TRT guides keep these questions separate.
• Supply claims link dated manufacturer, FDA or ASHP shortage records. These records do not verify a particular pharmacy's inventory. The patch tracker labels stock as unverified.

What can the evidence establish?

A source check applies to the named fact and treatment path. An advertised offer does not establish a patient's eligibility, dispensing pharmacy, final prescription or clinical result. When sources conflict or a required detail is absent, we keep that limit visible. Read the review's source record and the source guide before carrying a claim into another comparison or summary.

Does payment change a score?

A platform's affiliate status never raises its score. Objective rankings sort by the displayed score, while separately disclosed promotional placements can feature approved partners. Since September 29, 2026 every total is the sum of five equal public-information criteria: product, price, care process, pharmacy and terms. It measures disclosure, not clinical quality. How are errors corrected?

We correct mistakes immediately when surfaced, even if the correction hurts an affiliate partner's standing. Significant corrections are noted with a dated update line at the bottom of the affected page. The corrections policy distinguishes material factual corrections from internal edit logs. Does HRT Picks give medical advice?

HRT Picks is not a medical provider. We compare telehealth platforms on cost, formulary, and clinical structure. We do not diagnose, treat, or recommend medications.
