How much does TMates TRT cost?

The published totals are $200 for one month, $450 for three, $700 for six and $1,000 for twelve. Six months works out to about $116.67 per month; twelve works out to about $83.33. The site rounds those figures to $117 and $83. Use the full term amount when budgeting, not just the rounded monthly equivalent.

A longer term lowers the advertised unit price but increases the amount committed before you know how treatment fits. Ask whether the chosen plan renews for the same term and amount, whether any supply is committed immediately, and what an early stop would actually refund.

What testing and follow-up should you confirm?

TMates describes labs as included, but its intake instructions say testing is completed if ordered, while other copy describes laboratory-confirmed low testosterone. That is not a clear written baseline-testing protocol or repeat-test timetable.

The Endocrine Society recommends diagnosing hypogonadism only when relevant symptoms accompany consistently low testosterone, with a repeat morning measurement to confirm the result. Before proceeding, request the required panel, where samples are taken, the repeat schedule and which tests the plan pays for. A quiz result or fatigue alone is not a diagnosis.

Who provides TMates care and dispenses the medication?

TMates's doctor page describes US-based, board-certified physicians but does not name individual clinicians in the page we reviewed. Its terms identify TMates Inc. as the platform and assign medical decisions to independent treating professionals. Those descriptions do not identify the person who will treat you or establish specialist hormone-care credentials.

Ask for the clinician's name and state license, the dispensing pharmacy and the exact prescription product. The site's general compounding disclosure does not establish whether your particular testosterone supply is commercially manufactured or compounded. Compounded medicines are not FDA-approved. We did not independently verify the assigned clinician, pharmacy or medication before intake.

Can you use insurance or a local pharmacy?

A general TMates FAQ says insurance may be accepted and refers visitors to the portal to check coverage. It does not identify a covered TRT plan or establish how this testosterone bundle is billed. Treat the displayed plan amounts as self-pay comparisons until TMates and your insurer confirm otherwise.

Likewise, evidence that another TMates product can be filled at a local pharmacy does not establish that option for this testosterone offer. Request the prescription-transfer policy and ask whether choosing your own pharmacy changes the package charge. Do not assume medication reimbursement removes the platform fee.

Does cancelling TMates mean you get a refund?

No. The terms distinguish a refund before clinical review from the later stage when a prescription has been transmitted to a pharmacy. They state that the latter is non-refundable and that payment plans can remain due after a rejected refund request. A separate ineligibility-refund clause specifically mentions weight-loss plans; obtain written clarification for TRT.

Before prepaying, ask how to stop renewal, how much notice is needed, and what happens if treatment is changed or discontinued. Keep the applicable terms and cancellation confirmation. We did not test the refund process, and an account-closure option is not proof that unused prepaid care is refundable.

What do independent TMates reviews establish?

The Trustpilot profile checked on September 29 showed 2.9/5 from two reviews. That small, platform-wide sample cannot estimate TRT satisfaction or treatment effectiveness. It falls below our rubric's minimum review count for a rating-band adjustment. Testimonials hosted by TMates are merchant-selected material, not an independent review base.

BBB records show recurring appointment, fulfillment and refund disputes, mainly concerning other treatment lines. TMates responded to several cases, acknowledged delays, and reported refunds; some complainants accepted the resolution. Together with the Trustpilot reports, these support a platform-service caution. They do not prove that a given TRT patient will have the same experience or establish a complaint rate.

What does the TMates public-information score measure?

The score above assesses five public-information checks: treatment identity, payment clarity, care process, pharmacy disclosure and cancellation terms. Each finding links its source. Missing information earns no disclosure credit; it does not prove failed care or noncompliance.

The platform's independent feedback mostly concerns other treatment lines. It remains a separate caution, not a fabricated TRT patient rating. Affiliate approval, commission and merchant testimonials add no points.
